Summary :


The NetSuite Administrator will be responsible for managing our NetSuite, ensuring that it meets our business needs and operates efficiently. This includes overseeing system integrations, providing technical support to end-users, developing and implementing best practices for system usage within our organization, and managing NetSuite workflow processes and reporting tools. The Information Systems Manager will also be responsible for managing external IT consultants/professionals and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to ensure data integrity and system security by performing the following duties:

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Manage and maintain our NetSuite platform
  • Oversee system integrations with other business applications
  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting and issue resolution
  • Maintain NS data model, including record master modifications, field creation, CSV import templates data uploads
  • Develop and implement best practices for system usage within the organization
  • Train end-users on system functionality and best practices, including preparing training materials
  • Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Stay up-to-date with system updates and new features, and provide recommendations for adoption
  • Manage NetSuite workflow processes to ensure efficient and effective business operations
  • Manage GS1 database, records, and processes for item registration and maintenance
  • Manage contracted IT professionals, including project management goals and budgets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure data integrity and system security
  • Maintain and continuously improve Headwater-specific process documentation and SOPs for use of NetSuite 
  • Execute standard testing process for major process areas for new releases and features


The ideal candidate will have experience in stakeholder management and be able to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that NetSuite meets the needs of the business. They will also have experience in NetSuite workflow management and be able to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline business operations.


Supervisory Responsibilities

                  

Directly oversees Project Team members (assigned as needed) and IT consultants. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing employee candidates, onboarding and training new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; recognizing and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications 


To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR 3+ years of experience in information systems management, including experience with NetSuite
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, SQL, and system integrations
  • Knowledge of system security and data integrity best practices
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing IT projects
  • Experience managing NetSuite workflow processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
